And the partnership with AdventHealth University is very important because the hospitals within AdventHealth provide the clinical sites the research, support, and thousands of clinicians to help guide students from school life to work life. Whether you're interested in delivering babies or you want to work in the emergency department or you're interested in critical care, each one of our hospitals helps facilitate those clinical experiences, learning goals and world class outcomes for patients.
The AdventHealth system is a faith based organization that delivers whole person care to our patients. Our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Christ. So everything that we did when we learned how to be a nurse was aligned with that and taking care of the whole patient. And that was important to me. Going to AdventHealth University allowed me to do my clinical experiences at AdventHealth and be exposed to the clinicians. They're the leaders there and allowed me to develop my skills into the position that I am today.
AdventHealth provides strong transition to practice programs. I usually tell students it matters where you pick your first job, because you're going to learn the skills that are going to serve you while the rest of your career.
